The Farmer George Story

Farmer George is a family owned and operated boutique business that has been suppling quality farm fresh produce to homes across NSW from our family farm since 2010.

The Farmer George story began when George Hamilton (pictured right) kept getting calls from his city friends complaining of the lack of quality fresh lamb available in the city. George had the lambs in the paddock, so decided to give it a go, and started delivering his lamb to Sydney under the name Farmer George! It has proved to be such a hit with Sydney-siders fed up with buying poor quality meat at their supermarket that George decided to expand operations and begin to deliver farm fresh meat to the wider area of Sydney and beyond.

Since then the business has grown, with more and more people joining the 'Friends of Farmer George' band wagon. Clients are discovering the quality of eating fresh lamb and the enjoyment of knowing where their food comes from and who has grown it. To join our mailing list click here.

Not long after George started the business, Farmer George's daughter, Madie Hamilton, (pictured above with George) came on board to help 'the old man' out with all things online for Farmer George. Madie is based in Sydney and visits the family farm regularly.

The concept behind Farmer George is to keep it simple, keep it fresh, keep it wholesome.
